Fahrenheit Heating & AC provides HVAC services including but not limited to:

  • Heating system repair, installation, and maintenance

  • Heat pump and mini-split systems
  • Emergency HVAC services
  • Preventive maintenance plans

Service Area

We provide services in the greater Tampa Bay area, including but not limited to Tampa, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Largo, and Seminole. Service availability may vary by location and service type.

Scheduling and Appointments

  • Appointments are scheduled based on availability and may be subject to change
  • We strive to arrive within the scheduled time window but cannot guarantee exact arrival times
  • Emergency services are prioritized and may affect scheduled appointments
  • You must provide at least 24 hours notice for appointment cancellations or rescheduling to avoid cancellation fees

Pricing and Payment

Service Fees

  • Diagnostic fees apply for service calls and may be waived if repairs are completed
  • Pricing for repairs and installations will be provided before work begins
  • Emergency service calls may incur additional fees
  • All prices are subject to applicable taxes

Payment Terms

  • Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing
  • We accept cash, credit cards, checks, and approved financing options
  • Late payments may be subject to interest charges and collection fees
  • Returned checks will incur a $35 processing fee

Estimates and Quotes

  • Estimates are provided free of charge and are valid for 30 days
  • Final costs may vary based on actual conditions discovered during service
  • We will notify you of any significant cost increases before proceeding
  • Written approval is required for work exceeding the original estimate

Warranties and Guarantees

Service Warranty

We guarantee our workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of service completion. This warranty covers labor only and does not include parts, which are covered under manufacturer warranties.

Equipment Warranties

New equipment installations come with manufacturer warranties. Warranty terms vary by manufacturer and equipment type. We will provide warranty documentation at the time of installation.

Warranty Exclusions

Our warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by improper use, neglect, or abuse
  • Repairs or modifications performed by unauthorized parties
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Acts of God, natural disasters, or external events beyond our control
  • Failure to perform recommended maintenance

Customer Responsibilities

Access and Safety

  • Provide safe and unobstructed access to HVAC equipment
  • Remove or secure pets during service visits
  • Clear the work area of personal belongings and valuables
  • Inform technicians of any known hazards (asbestos, mold, etc.)
  • Ensure adequate lighting and electrical access

Maintenance Requirements

  • Follow recommended maintenance schedules to ensure warranty coverage
  • Change air filters regularly (every 1-3 months)
  • Keep outdoor units clear of debris and vegetation
  • Report unusual sounds, odors, or performance issues promptly

Accurate Information

You agree to provide accurate and complete information regarding:

  • Property ownership or authorization to request services
  • Existing HVAC equipment and service history
  • Contact information for scheduling and billing
  • Any previous repairs or modifications to HVAC systems

Limitation of Liability

Service Limitations

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Property damage resulting from pre-existing conditions
  • Delays in service due to circumstances beyond our control
  • Issues arising from improper installation by previous contractors
  • Damage to concealed utilities not marked by property owner

Insurance

We maintain appropriate liability insurance and workers’ compensation coverage. Our technicians are licensed and insured in accordance with Florida state requirements.

Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation Policy

  • Appointments must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance to avoid fees
  • Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a $75 service fee
  • We reserve the right to cancel appointments due to weather, emergencies, or technician availability

Refund Policy

  • Deposits are refundable if installation is cancelled before work begins
  • Services performed are non-refundable but covered by our warranty
  • Equipment returns are subject to manufacturer restocking fees
  • Disputes regarding charges should be raised within 30 days of service

Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Fahrenheit Heating & AC or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

We offer 24/7 emergency HVAC services. Emergency service calls are prioritized based on severity and may incur additional fees. Response times may vary based on weather conditions, technician availability, and service location.

Emergency Situations

Emergency services are intended for urgent situations including:

  • Complete system failure during extreme weather
  • Gas leaks or carbon monoxide concerns
  • Water leaks from HVAC equipment
  • Electrical issues posing safety hazards

Permits and Compliance

When required by local building codes, we will obtain necessary permits for installations and major repairs. Permit costs are typically included in project estimates. You are responsible for ensuring compliance with homeowners association rules and deed restrictions.

Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email to customers with active service agreements.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy and any written service agreements, constitute the entire agreement between you and Fahrenheit Heating & AC regarding the use of our services and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
